Canada’s hotel industry reported decreases in the three key performance metrics for the week of 27 May-2 June 2012, according to data from STR. In year-over-year measurements, the country’s occupancy fell 0.8 percent to 68.8 percent, its average daily rate was down 0.9 percent to CAD$132.40 and its revenue per available room reported a 1.7-percent decrease to CAD$91.11.
