JetBlue’s New Flights Between Washington’s Reagan National Airport and San Juan, Puerto Rico to Launch August 23

JetBlue Airways announced that its new nonstop “capital-to-capital” service from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico will begin on August 23, 2012.

Just last week JetBlue was granted a beyond-perimeter slot exemption from the United States Department of Transportation to launch this new long-distance flight. JetBlue’s new flights will be the only nonstop service between Washington D.C.’s downtown airport and the capital of Puerto Rico. This route will be JetBlue’s 14th destination from San Juan and will operate from JetBlue’s exclusive new ‘home’ in Terminal A at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport.
