Port and Tenant Businesses to Celebrate New Entrance Sign for Shelter Island

Shelter Island will soon have an identifying marker to welcome its guests. A new entrance sign is being installed this week in the center median of Shelter Island Drive near Anchorage Lane.

On Friday, March 2, 2012, City of San Diego Council President Pro Tem Kevin Faulconer, Board of Port Commissioners Chairman Lou Smith, San Diego Port Tenants Association President Sharon Cloward and Shelter Island business owners will celebrate the new sign at a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. The event takes place in the parking lot of the Brigantine Restaurant, located at 2912 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego.
